Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated it’s 127th Branch at Moheshpur in Jhenaidah District on 16th September 2019 and at the same time an ATM Booth has been inaugurated in the Branch Premises. The Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. Md. Shahjahan Shiraj formally inaugurated the Branch and the ATM Booth as Chief Guest.

The Mayor of Moheshpur Municipality Mr. Md. Abdur Rashid Khan, the President of Moheshpur Bazar Bonik Samity Mr. Foshier Rahman, the Chairman of Panthapara Union Parishad Mr. Ismail Hossain, the Chairman of Fatepur Union Parishad Mr. Sirazul Islam, the Chairman of SBK Union Parishad Mr. Arifar Hasan Chowdhury and the former Chairman Mr. Sazzadul Islam Sazzad were delivered speech in the opening ceremony.

Among others the Head of the Public Relations Division & Bank Foundation of the Bank Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha and the Manager of Moheshpur Branch Mr. Meer Towhid Hasan and Local Businessmen were also present in the ceremony.

In his speech Mr. Md. Shahjahan Shiraj Said, the banking sector is playing a significant role for the overall economic growth of the country. Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. achieved the client’s credibility due to contemporary and modern technology based services. He also said Shahjalal Islami Bank intends to more invest in Moheshpur area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in the SME sector for the development and business expansion. He discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment Schemes. The Bank is working to bring back all classes of people to take them under banking services.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
