Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited donated Tk. 1 Crore to Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund on 2nd April 2019 for helping fire victims of Churihatta in old Dhaka’s Chawkbazar area. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah handed over the Cheque to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban as a part of the Bank’s CSR activities. The Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mazumder was also present while handing over the Cheque.
