Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated it’s 116th Branch at Vararia in Manikganj District on 5th November 2018. The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Mr. M. Shahidul Islam formally inaugurated the Branch as Chief Guest. The Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz presided over in the ceremony.

Among others the Member of Parliament Manikganj-2 Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, the Vice-President of Manikganj Zila Awami League Mr. Selimuzzaman, the Secretary of Youth & Sports of Manikganj Zila Awami League Mr. Abid Hasan Bipob, the Vice-Chairman of Horirampur Upazila Mr. Abul Bashar Sabuz, the Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited Mr. Imtiaz U Ahmed, the Head of Common Services Division Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rasheed, the Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha, the Manager of Manikganj Branch Mr. Sheikh Azmul Islam, the Manager of Variaria Bazar Branch Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Zobayer Mehdi and the Chairman of Harukandi Union Parishad Mr. Assaduzzaman Chunnu as well as Local Businessmen were also present in the ceremony.

In his speech Mr. M. Shahidul Islam Said, the banking sector is playing a significant role for the overall economic growth of the country. Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. achieved the client’s credibility due to contemporary and modern technology based services. He also said Shahjalal Islami Bank intends to more invest in Manikganj area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in the SME sector for the development and business expansion.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises.
